Originally posted by j2photos I have had this fight with myself for the past 2 months on what to buy, it came down to the 15 LTD, the DA 12-24(Still may buy) or the sigma 10-20 3.5
All I have ever heard is good things about the 15 LTD so it won out in the end.
A k-3 and 15 ltd... that's going to open the door for some fun shooting...
Originally posted by savoche Haven't tried the 12-24, but having the 15 and 10-20 4-5.6 I almost never use the Sigma. 10mm is great fun, but the size of the thing means it stays at home most of the time.
Which means I won't buy a K-3.
Same with my Sigma 8-16, I love the lens for what it does, but if I have my 18-135, 60-250 and 70 macro along, it's really hard to pick up a 8-16 and put it in the bag. it's much easier to think "oh, I won't need that today."
Oh, and that Tamron 90 is no slouch either, my wife took mine and wouldn't give it back. I eventually bought the Sigma 70 to make up for the loss, but it's heavier and costs more. I hate both of those things.
And that's why i won't buy another K-3.
