more info from Adam

Once we reach the post count requirement, I will create three raffle threads in the Pentax Forums Giveaways section. These threads will open at 05:00 (5am), 13:00 (1pm), 22:00 (10pm) UTC on or after August 30th. Each thread will accept up to 80 replies, each of which will be a raffle entry. Our system will attempt to automatically enforce this limit and any post beyond the 80th in any of these threads will not be considered a raffle entry.

If you make 180 or more posts during August, you will automatically receive a raffle entry and will not need to post.

After all raffle entries are claimed, I will pick a random number n between 1 and the number of total raffle entries, and our winner will be the holder of the nth raffle entry.

There are some additional requirements for users to be able to post in the raffle threads:
You must have at least 10 posts on the forum in August, prior to the start of the first thread
Your account must be registered at least 24h prior to the creation of the raffle threads
You are not eligible if you've previously won a camera through this giveaway
Limit one entry total, per month, per household

Several years ago a Missouri liquor law only allowed 3.2% beer to be sold on Sunday.
Made many a trip across the Mighty Miss into Illinois for the real stuff.
In Sweden they seem to "enjoy" 2.8% beer. Sorry, "beer".

Minnesota was the same way and my still be. I didn't really enjoy beer until I had my first Norwegian Hansa beer when I managed a liquor store. Now I enjoy my local brews pretty much exclusively.
Hansa Lager never was my favourite. Can't stand the smell of it even if the taste is ok. The only lager I can identify by a single sniff.

These days we're enjoying the wave of local micro breweries following the trend from your side of the pond - much of it is far better than the big industrial producers (even if those are relatively good, too - they stick to the German Reinheitsgebot of 1516 after all).

In Alberta, Canada the drinking age is 18... in other provinces it goes up to 19 I think, but not 21.

I find it incredible that at the age of 18 in the USA you are considered responsible enough to own guns, but not responsible enough to drink a beer.
And serving alcohol! An 18 yr old can serve you alcohol but they can't drink it until they're 21, right?

So odd
Don't forget about driving age, 14.3 - 17. A car in the hands of a boy a little more than 14 y.o. is a bit frightening, IMHO...

In Italy it's 18 for driving and drinking (ideally not both at the same time! )
You can even vote at 18, except for the Senate, for which you have to be 25.

If I recall correctly, once upon a time in IL, legal for beer and wine was 18, but 21 for hard liquor.
Could have just been in some counties.
Over here it's 18 for beer (and wine) and 20 for hard liquors.

I never intended to enter the raffle but have done a quite decent job of contributing to the count, I think. Haven't planned on any change in that - even though I suspect some members wouldn't mind if I spent a bit less of insane humbleness in here

In Washington state you have to be 21 to serve liquor.

Well if they can draft you into the military you should be able to own a firearm. And have a beer as far as I am concerned.

Most interesting thing to me is not count posts in the Giveaway section.
Some people seemed to be getting to "their 10" by alternating questions and whining about the rules.
didn't know about that restriction when I made my choices

I agree it is significant
