I cling to the hands-on stuff. It's not entirely "future proof" as more and more if this is outsourced, often to the other side of the world. Now I work for one of those at the receiving end of the outsourcing, and we do fairly well in our battle with the international giants - so far.
Anyway, I have no reason to complain. Which is why I don't quite feel at home in the Doom&Gloom section
