it is starting to get exciting for baseball fans:

a little more than 30 games out of the 162 game schedule are left to be played by each team and the regular season ends at the end of September

In the American League:

only one division seems to be settled, the Central with Indians up 12,

in the East, the Red Sox lead the Yankees by 8.5

in the West the Astros leads the As by 1.5 games back and the Mariners by 5.5 games

and the As lead the Mariners by 4 games and the Rays by 9 games in the " wild card " race

The other local brew pub in our town of 850 has a Blueberry Beah, (Maine translation to Beer.) In the Weiss style. It is also pretty good but I prefer a stout most of the time for myself.

GMT is " old school "

UTC is the more modern name

Zulu time is the military term I believe but means the same as UTC [ Universal Time Coordinate ] or GMT [ Greenwich Mean Time ]

Today is the 40th annual Cobra Motors barbecue and car show in Oso, Washington. I just checked outside and there is a light overcast, marine layer that should burn off by mid morning.

A perfect day for cars, burgers and beer.

one egg omelet with onion, mushroom and cheddar cheese

2 slices of bacon
