I forgot the most important part of dinner! The liquid refreshment! Tonight was a locally brewed Chocolate Stout from Liberty Craft Brewing. Amazing and smooth with a great body! And Free! SWMBO and I won their Thursday night trivia contest a number of times and each time is either a six pack, a t- shirt or lowered tab from dinner and beer. We have won enough times that they had to think of alternate prizes to a 6-pack since we kept winning and I don't drink that much. That may have sounded like bragging, but it was meant very humbly! So a humble brag. It is my Norwegian Heritage coming through in humbleness.

Nope, you have to set the standard, then let others win. One week we gave the six pack to the second place team because they had a funny team name.
At the Friday Trivia contest, the table of librarians is tough to beat, but we with some help from a couple of equally humble teammates, have defeated them at least twice. And we were humble doing it.

No time for posting.

Time to shave, shower, dress, pack my camera and some lenses, and head to the barbecue.

Um, no. I prefer to not ruin it by adding milk.

Coffee is a soft drink if you add milk and or sugar, not coffee anymore!

My eldest drank coffee like that until he was 5, then he cut out the sugar and milk.

Just a matter of taste, Bert. Some prefer dresses, others prefer skirts.

The other local brew pub in our town of 850 has a Blueberry Beah, (Maine translation to Beer.) In the Weiss style. It is also pretty good but I prefer a stout most of the time for myself.

Beah - curious pronunciation.

A few weeks ago I went to an Australian (from Sydney) friend's place in Oxford. His teenage daughter asked me what I call the fluid in a Corona bottle, the fluid it was shipped from the factory with.

I said 'beer', and she said I come from Adelaide because my accent got it as two syllables.
