Uncooked oysters can ruin the individual consuming them.
I had them both ways, prefer the fried type after my friend got hepatitis from the raw kind.
My taste buds disagree... with K3.

That too. It is my understanding that we may yet give them the vote...

Oysters are an abomination no matter what you do with them. I can't stand that type of fish. Oysters, clams, scallops, mussels, never did like any of them and I grew up where I had easy access. Shrimp are food of the gods, lobster, eh, I like it but not as much as I like shrimp. Love crab, and I grew up catching and eating them, but I can't eat them anymore. I have some kind of funky gout-like reaction to eating them these days. I miss that. I used to love eating Maryland Blues and Alaskan King Crab, and oh, Dungeness, now that's some fine eating....

Some of us think we should just stop exporting grain and ethanol and beef and pork and energy and, well, everything.

The West Coast can keep its vegetables and movies and internet. The East Coast can keep its maple syrup and television. Especially News. And Federal government.

Blues have taken a hit from the Rock-fish lately.
This is from past summer, they were not plentiful.

The K3 is still not in the sights.

Why do you shoot in the raw? I can see it if you wanted to test your equipment's WR in the shower but otherwise I prefer to shoot fully clothed. Much warmer and not as many neighbours screaming in horror. That's why you shouldn't buy a K3; you never know what might happen to your mental well-being.

Tell him the truth, it's freakin -50 where you are at and if you went out with only your Pentax, the constable would put you in a home!!

Not as funny as me shooting in the raw with a K3! There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men influenced by hociR.

Now that is not funny. Did you fall to the sign of the sirens of the K3 sea.

I shoot raw all the time and nobody blinks an eye. That's the advantage when you live in a place mostly filled with really old folks. They're too blind and deaf most of them to clearly see what you are doing. Not that they aren't darned nosy sometimes. I can't tell you how many times I've been standing there trying to frame a bird shot and suddenly it's "Whatcha doin?" I've got a huge heron standing on one leg in the bayou right in front of me and a camera in my hands and yet they still ask. Then again this is the place where they have a Seniors Orgy Club apparently taking over the pool some nights after it officially closes. So my shooting raw just might be considered too tame for them to care, eh? :P

Shellfish is my favorite.

Here are the razor clams we dug up last September.

MMMMMMmmmmmmm . . . . . . . . . . . tasty!

Lotsa meat, ready to eat!

Time for some panko and a quick sear in the skillet!

And the little bits were saved for some New England Chowder!

Oh baby!

hociR's got nothin' on this!
