He said the German beer wasn't severed cold, but pretty cool and was the best he's ever had and it didn't mess up his guts like beer here has been doing lately.
I've put enough through my system to fill a swimming pool, nowadays even one bloats me so bad I rarely drink it at all.
I had to stop drinking the big brewery's beer; gut bloat and gut rot. I know they say they don't put any preservatives but they must put something! The microbrewery brew I can drink without any negative effects. Now if I imbibe too energetically, well I can hurt myself. But that is different...eh?

Lucas electrics, Prince of Darkn
Everyone knows the notoriously unreliable Lucas electric systems that English cars are equipped with.
That's as maybe - so why blame "Lucas" for fridges that they have never made/sold Get your facts right FGS!

PS: ATM, there are (unfortunately!!!!!) no truely English (let alone British!!!) major UK car manufacturers as all the major players are from Germany/France/Japan OR the US - so blame them!:

Duh! Never heard of "Lucas" fridges in the UK - but "Whatever", and our fridges can be as cold as needed. OTOH, "real" traditionally-brewed British beer doesn't need to be frozen but just "slightly cool"
Lucas. Prince of Darkness.

The three positions of a Lucas switch: Dim, Flicker, and Off.

Lucas also made vacuum cleaners. It was the only product they made that did not suck.

You are aware, possibly, that this is a "satire" thread? Facts are not only discouraged but quite often strangled.

Quite so - but we BRITS (and I actually hate that "term") are just like any other nationality(!), and can't "agree" to accept "slanderous" accusations like that! Would the Anzacs (minus the Aussies! ) react any differently

Hey, I own a Landrover. Why would I not make fun of Lucas?
You'll just have to grin and bear it.

Coincidentally, did you hear about the Landrover owner who's Landrover did not leak oil? He sent it back to the dealer and they worked on it until it did!
One good thing with Landrovers is that the undercarriage never rusts. There's a fine coating of oil on everything.

No slander of the British attempted or intended. Some of my best friends are British.

More Lucas jokes:

Lucas is the patent holder for the short circuit.

Lucas - Inventor of the first intermittent wiper.

Lucas - Inventor of the self-dimming headlamp.

Apparently, this product is very useful:
