I know Racer likes machinery; these are probably too small for him to appreciate;

The dashboard accessory is far more useful than satnav!
Well, for finding the way I'd prefer a satnav. But for pretty much anything else I agree.

The dashboard accessory looks rather challenging to get quick access. Certainly not a ready for use kind of access.
There is a single pin that when pulled allows the rifle to drop down and be pulled out quickly by the soldier who would be riding shotgun.

No machine is too small or too large for me to appreciate.

Oh, and I have operated those little skid steer things a few times.

Satnav hadn’t been invented yet.

In 1942 man had yet to start polluting space with satellites.

Don't pay the ransom, I escaped.
It isn't hay fever, it's the mother of all colds.
Somewhat better today, but how bad was it?
Mrs Bob had sympathy for me, took over my cooking duties, hauled the trash out for pick up, waited on me hand and foot, and offered to take me to the doctor.
As of yesterday evening I was wishing I had taken her up on the offer.
If I never cough again it will be too soon.

Well enough. Slowly catching up on sleep after too little of it over the last couple of weeks. Much easier now that I'm back to full work weeks

I hope you're feeling better soon!

Pretty much.

For me, I have to be sick enough it requires an emergency room visit before I will take a day off sick.
