Our building has a new elevator system where the elevator cars themselves have no floor buttons. Each floor has a panel where you request the floor you are going to. The elevator software schedules an elevator for certain floor only based on traffic. Great system as it eliminates the "Milk Run" issues where every elevator car is stopping at 10 floors.
When I ride an elevator, just as I am exiting on the floor I am headed for I push every button, then exit.
