Is that those soporifics at play?
Could be.

That and getting about on forearm crutches is exhausting.

Also a day closer to being back on both feet.

The weather dude just said we've had a total 6.8" of snow so far, only 7" all of last winter, and two winters ago 3.2" total.

When I drove Monstro and company some winters there would be lots of snow and ice along the way.

Other winters there would be little.

Meh.

The weather runs in cycles. Some years it deals out a lot, other years, not so much.

Saw my foot guy yesterday for the 1 week checkup. Pulled the splint and bandages,, shot a few x-rays, looked things over, wrote a scrip for some huge antibiotics as it looks like the incisions are festering a bit, wrapped me up and sent me on my way.

And my way was back home, via a quick stop at the druggist, then a bite to eat, and another nap.

Just woke up from a nap in fact.

All these naps and I'm feeling like a cat.

Anyway, here is the latest shot of my ugly foot. Gonna be a lot of shots like this, since I just got a new K-1 (good reason to not buy a K-3 by the way), and I have lots of time on my hands when I'm not sleeping.

The swelling around the ankle doesn't want to go down.

So I'm spending more time with my feet up, and when I'm at my desk, I feel like a big executive or something.

Then I take a nap and feel like a cat again.

In fact, it is time for another nap.

Say goodnight Gracie.

Nah, it's not as if I do anything useful

My brain switches off after around 14 hours. The last two hours things crept forward at a very modest pace. But we got there eventually. Yay...
