No one on the forum has an answer yet, any guesses here?

It is for squashing or smashing something, or maybe cracking open walnuts maybe.

Peanuts?

Roasted in the shell?

Boiled? (yuk!)

Roasted and shelled? (mmmmm . . . . . . tasty!)

Roasted in the shell or roasted and shelled are great with beer.

Yeah, buddy!

We're thinking along the same lines.
I thought maybe it's a napkin holder for picnics, but seems too small.

Actually that strikes a memory in me about that sort of a container. I think that may actually be correct. For picnic use specifically.

Tiny napkins for wiping the dainty corners of ones mouth in polite company.

Nothing any of us here need to be concerned with I’d say.

Several years ago an old fellow sold bags of peanuts from the city's court house steps.
His chant was:
peanuts peanuts peanuts peanuts, in rapid succession
but it sounded like something else (hint, drop the t)

I've had them where they are very popular, South Carolina, North Carolina. A friend I knew through driving and I hooked up one long weekend there, at some point while we were going from one bar to another I was handed a bag of them freshly boiled.

I couldn't get passed the texture of the nut. Too soft and spongy.

Peanuts are supposed to be crunchy.

And the taste . . . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . like wet cardboard.

Kind of like limp, under cooked bacon I suspect.

BMS 15-5G Class A wipers.

4x4", the only wiper approved for cleaning the airplane. For cleaning up all that messy stuff created while building an airplane.

Looks like they would be a perfect fit.
