I was planning on heading up to go skiing today but, with a temperature of -30°C (-22°F) in the alpine, I'm reconsidering....

Coming up soon . . . . .
As promised, here it is.

I made it on the same site as the one from last week's snowstorm, the roof over the downstairs porch, just off of the upstairs porch on the East side of the house. It was looking pretty good and then overnight the snow kept falling, and falling, and falling, leaving the poor guy with an insulating blanket of snow.

So he is nice and cozy.

Like I use to hear the old Germans in our area say "Be careful, there's some slick ice out there."
Vehicles in ditches, roads closed, including interstates, no church services.

Didn't get skiing unfortunately, too many chores to do. I'm heading up today, and it's quite warm with an alpine temperature of -20°C (-4°F) right now, before the sun's even up with clear bluebird skies today.

The only pot I've smoked was the one left in the stove when the fire was lit, it was smoking all right...
It's funny, yesterday we got tagged multiple times in an ad for a goat that loves hiking and car rides, and looking for a home where he'll be loved. We could take him, then put a bullet through his head, and put him in the freezer...
