Thanks Charlie, thought I was pretty much over it, but several trips to the loo this morning tells me otherwise.
Yeah, what Racer said. It's no fun going through being gone through, but it's the only way to get rid of whatever it is you need to rid yourself of.

Ok, that statement should come with a footnote. I have had evil lurking within that needed a bit of help by antibiotics in addition, but those trips were still required. Right now I think Charlie is a more probable subject of such ailments than you are, though.

Just see to it that you don't get dehydrated and you will pull through eventually.

.
My sympathies Bob, I've been down with a nasty respiratory one since Monday, spent Monday in bed never got up except for the loo, Tuesday dosed myself with meds went to work made it worse, yesterday same as Monday didn't get up fever and slept, this am I had to come in and deal with things dosed myself up with meds again and found out why they say to take with food, serious gastro pain mimicking a heart attack, ate a small muffin and lay on the floor in my office until it passed. feel ok now heading home (well symptoms lurking but suppressed, will miss a fun night out with a bunch of artists writers and actors for dinner then a spoken word and rock show after, been looking forward to it for ages oh well. hopefully it clears enough to enjoy a dinner out at a supper club with friends planned a month back and prepaid

Thanks for the encouragement guys!
Sorry to hear about your situation Eddie, hope you have a fast recovery.

I think it's viral, Mrs Bob has an issue too, she barfed a few times very early Monday morning and felt bad for a couple of days.
I only barfed once, the other end has been my problem.
One of our mistakes was feeling well enough by yesterday evening for a small meal of bbq and sides, I even had a couple of bourbons on the rocks. She has had a queasy stomach today.
Too soon for all that I'm sure. Chicken broth on the menu tonight.

All this talk of being sickly.

Racer got a chest cold a week and a half ago.

It has finally stopped kicking his ass.

Still some throat soreness and coughing, but on the mend.

There, I said it.

Time for a soothing shot of scotch.

Sipped smoothly.

For medicinal purposes of course.

And your driveways and yards buried.

Build a terrain park and get those freestyle skis out.

Sweet.

I'm sipping some of Mrs Bob's sparkling apple water.
Since it's carbonated, I put a pinch of salt in to un-carbonate it.
Pretty tasty, reminds me of being a kid and eating green (unripe) apples with salt.
Along with a piece of toast it's helping stop my hunger pangs.

I don't add salt to anything.

Otherwise the doctor will threaten me with blood pressure drugs when he finds my blood pressure too high.

Besides, bacon has enough salt for me and all of you combined.
