Originally posted by savoche On my way to work today I encountered a dude with no socks, in shorts and flip-flops, plodding along in the snow. He was probably just going around the block but he looked a tad out of place.
The inside of the Big Shed isn’t insulated, nor heated in the winter or cooled in the summer. All the activity, and machinery keep it a toasty 75 degrees or so, and some areas get even warmer.
So many people wear shorts year ‘round.
There is one dude I see quite often has a “uniform”. He wears a tie dyed t-shirt and shorts.
Everyday.
When we had the 18” of snow a couple weeks back I saw him, walking in each morning, funky shirt and shorts, without a jacket.
What a maroon.
He should at least had a warm coat on.
Me?
I wear shorts from April to September, but as soon as the rainy season begins it is back to full trousers.
My mama didn’t raise no fool.
