So she ruined the giant crawdad of the sea for you?

The only thing better than lobster is lobster wrapped in bacon.

I feel for ya man.
No, she is fine... Just costly.

Two more candidates that qualify for immediate acceptance into Canada, hey just give us the whole West coast, the new England States ( except New York) and Minnesota. You guys don't appreciate them anyway. We'll trade you Alberta and Quebec for them.
Deal! But you have to take D.C. too.

Fine with me too, just stay the hell away from the heartland.
Biscuits and gravy vs poutine? No contest, B&G all the way!!
Biscuits and sausage gravy.

Don't leave out the crumbled sausage.

Seared in bacon grease.

None of that boiling business either.

So, any suggestions on how to entertain my Finnish girlfriend when she gets here this April.
Planning on a trip to Luray caverns and Balto national aquarium to try out my 11-18 What should I do with her?

Nope.

New York on down stays with the Union.

From New York to the Outer Banks it is too messed up and would never assimilate well. From the Outer banks to the tip of Florida is needed for all the snowbirds from the the other place.

And the heartland.

For the biscuits and sausage gravy.

Crumbled sausage, seared in an iron skillet with bacon grease.

Well that part doen’t assimilate with the rest of us either. Maybe Mexico will take it.

Give her roses when you meet her at the airport. A dozen, at least.

With that baby's breath stuff. Chicks really go for that.

Give her a big hug and a kiss or three.

Take her to the movies.

Give her flowers.

Go for walks in the park and see all the flowers and trees in bloom. You know, romantic stuff.

Have coffee in a quaint corner bistro, stare deeply into her eyes and listen to her every word.

Give her more flowers.

Take her to a nice place for dinner, but not Finnish. She eats that every day, right?

Some real American food maybe. Be creative.

Remember to stare deeply into her eyes during dinner conversation. Chicks like that.

Go for a romantic sunset walk by the ocean or something.

There, that should get things going.

Have fun brother!

nice

Especially the biscuits and gravy at Stewart's in Lake Ozark, MO.
They make it pretty good here too.

Almost as good as the BLT sammich and apple dumplings with vanilla ice cream they serve.

Honestly, Missouri is where I'd like to retire.
Convincing Mrs. P is the problem.
Where does she want to retire to?

Bermuda?

I like small airplanes.

My mom owned this one for many years.

I have a couple hundred hours of right seat time in that airplane.

Too bad the guy she sold it to had no business flying small planes. He was flying from his home in California to Wisconsin for the EAA fly in at Osh Kosh when somewhere over Kansas he got scared he didn't have enough fuel to get to the next airstrip so he decided to put it down in a freshly plowed field.

Did a ground loop when the landing gear sank into the loose soil.

Destroyed it.
