nice. this weekend i plan 2 things - pot au feu (boiled meat and veg french style..... so very tasty.) and poulet en cocotte...chicken roasted/ braised in a pot. .... all inspired by mrs eddie bringing home a Staub cocotte

---------- Post added 16th Mar 2019 at 10:29 ----------

ive wanted one for ages
"pot au feu (boiled meat and veg french style", my Dad used to call it "Bouilli" .... pronounced boo-yee, sorta but with lots of tongue and nose...the pronunciation not the dish

...and nice looking pot! May there be many a great meal produced!!

That Canadian store that sells things other than tires had some great sales last year and I picked up two dutch ovens...a medium and a large

That will be real nice well seasoned with grill marks and seared to perfection over some nice mesquite coals. Don't forget some grilled vegetables to go with it.

Yes, my veggies will be a big baked potato and grill toasted garlic bread.
I'd forgo the roasted veggies for a fine garden salad

That reminds me, I ran across a pic of Parallax' bbq grill the other day.
Looks like cooking soup.

Nothing wrong with soup.

Bread is vegetable, for the reasons you stated, it comes from plant matter, but it is not a vegetable. The article is the issue of my contention.

You know by now I like playing with the grammar of the language my ancestors invented.
