Given Adam's recent call for additional mods, I think it only right to say the role is nothing like being God or a god... I've never been a military man, but I've heard many stories of how military police are viewed by the rest of the armed services, and the abuse they receive as a result. That's somewhat closer to what we experience, IMHO That said, most folks are wonderful, and the good outweighs the bad. And I'll draw this to a close right there...

I fondly remember going around to some miscreant's abode, at the crack of dawn, to find said individual and escort him back to barracks, after he has absconded for some days. Clever individual would get the girlfriend to open the door clothed as the day she was born so that he could scarper out the back door.

So, I used to send a colleague to the back of the property first, and then knock on the door. Young 'lady' would open up, I'd say "Hello miss - Can you put on some clothes please?" and a few seconds later my colleague would appear with the now apprehended awol individual from the back of the house.

Is he looking for mods or admins? Or is that the same thing in his book...I view them as very different creatures

Adam and Ole are the administrators of the website.

Adam's looking for additional moderators to help keep the forums friendly and respectful and operating within the forum rules. One might think that would be unnecessary if everyone used this particularly thread as an example, but alas that's not always the case

They are, indeed, very different roles...

He's looking for moderators.
I share your view. Moderators and administrators are not the same.
The forum, as far as I know, has two administrators; Adam and Ole.
