Jim, sounds like you're an old hippie!

Bob, I was as anti-hippie as a person could be. As a teen I refused to wear long sleeves because I'd heard that iv drug users wore them.
I hated the music of the day. Note of the past tense in that statement? 60s music is now, overwhelmingly, my most listened to genre.
I was a straight arrow quasi nerd, but I now miss some aspects of that culture.

Now is the time to re-watch "Two Lane Blacktop", Jim. Maybe that and "Easy Rider"... double bill them one weekend soon...

Pretty much my story too, except for the quasi nerd part.

I have had to end my long run of Windows Phone devices. As nearly everyone knows, Microsoft has bowed out of mobiles and thus I have had to go to bloody Android. Or fruit. And I don't like fruit.

All this started with the HTC Apache: (None my photos - all shamelessly lifted from the internet)

Then, the HTC TyTN:

After that, it was the HTC Titan:

Then, the HTC TouchPro2: Probably my favourite phone of all time. I still have it.

Then, of course, proper keyboards went out of fashion, and we had to start typing on the screen. A major step back if you ask me.

First, the Nokia Lumia 625:

Then, the Nokia 635:

Then, my last Windows phone, the Microsoft 650:

Pretty decent camera for a phone.

So, this week, I got this: Samsung Galaxy J6+: It's android and I really don't like the look of android.

So, I've pimped the thing with all the apps I could find to at least make it look like a Windows phone, and work more or less like a windows phone. (Silly I know!)

If you don't like fruit, you are meant to have bacon.

Gotta look sharp.

None of that "We just got off the couch to make a quick run to the store for some cheesy poofs, other salty sweet snacks, carbonated and flavored sugar water and TV dinners and are too lazy to shower, brush our teeth, comb our hair and put on street clothes." look.
Ohhhh...not me...

Mark,
Your first phones weren't phones, they were small typewriters!
I did have a Palm Pixi for a short time.

Luckily, I was a teen in the 70s so all the great music was being created...LZ, Genesis, CSNY, etc, etc, etc
