What a thread! It has tracked from the hatred of a particular five letter word containing the same letters as "choir", through many twists and turnings, medical procedures and the ethics of taking pictures in hospitals.
A psychologist should analyse this thread and we might well come to a new understanding of the human mind!

I doubt it. Nobody can explain the inexplicable. Or the intimate linkage of insidious lunacy and Lens Buying Addiction. And only Moby Dick knows why Ahab was obsessed with 18% Neutral Gray.

That spelling of that-which-shall-not-be-painted-on-our-cameras is for Pentax Fanbois, as in, "They're singing in the Pentax Choir." It is effectively the opposite of hociR.
