That fisherman gets a lot better image than I do. Of course, he sprung for a lot better model with sidescan imaging compared to my base model...

So I guess this means you haven't found any stolen underwater Ford Explorers then.

Looks like I have gained control of my stoopit iPod. I can post pictures from it now without worrying about proper orientation.

I think.

Nope. Just the occasional rock or sunken junk in the harbor. Haven’t taken the ‘yak under the Narrows to see if can resolve the old wreckage... Not many people want to take a tiny little piece of floating Tupperware thru there, for some reason.

Yeah, big water in a tiny boat just doesn't feel right.

We took ours on Spada Lake once. It was fun, and we had a great paddle, but the sheer size of the place makes one a bit uneasy.

I did see kayakers going through Deception Pass though. I've been through there in proper boats, but never had the nads to try it in a kayak.

Racer, as long as your junk ain’t sunk it’ll be safe from me! I’ve been out on the edges near the bridges, with a group chasing salmon, but not all the way thru The Narrows. I wouldn’t do it solo, for sure, and that’s what I usually do when I go out. Deception Pass would be a blast if properly equipped and experienced.

A side note.

I haven't taken anything stronger than baby aspirin (doctor wants it as a blood clot preventative measure, one, twice a day) since the 4th day after this last surgery.

I think I'm getting numb to pain.

Breaking news:

North East of England scheduled to receive three years' worth of nice weather in one holiday weekend... Saturday, Sunday and Monday... with temperatures around 70, 72 and 65F respectively.

Time for a BBQ
