See, I'm not into the "beat me up" bit. I'd be delighted if protective headgear was mandatory in all boxing. The things I don't like about boxing are injuries and knock-outs. What I do enjoy is the craft, and the points-scoring shots... It might sound strange coming from a boxing fan, but I hate to see people get hurt...

If you tell me that different folks like the jackets done to a different texture, I'm going to feel very inadequate in my cooking skills (not for the first time)...

Sweet potatoes... I blow hot and cold with them. I like them boiled and mashed, with butter and black pepper. Not so keen on them diced, but they barbecue quite well given enough time on a medium heat... I just wish they were a little less sweet... and then, I think, I may as well go with regular potatoes

We’ll see what Son#2 (my daughter’s husband) comes up with. I’ll either like it or smile and eat it.
