Merci beaucoup ... and here's the image uncropped.

The reporter was kind enough to email it to me, but made the mistake of using a Canon DSLR ...

Well done! You could have loaned the reporter your Pentax! (Hell no!)

5/10
I guessed on the last two with dots, all I saw was dots and guessed wrong.
The first set of dots I could see the number 4.
Mrs Bob has been after me to get an eye exam, it's been awhile.

Like most men, you are color blind Bob.

Accept it, it is part of being a man.

I have been fortunate that colorblindness has not been a problem for me. I must have more X's in my chromosomes than I do Y's.

The quality and setup of your display can have a huge bearing

Let's go with that, I've never noticed any signs of being colorblind.
I tried hard to calibrate my old ASUS laptop, never could get it where I wanted.
Currently have a mid range HP Pavilion laptop and haven't messed with anything color wise.
It has an IPS display, the ASUS had a TN, not that I know much about such things.

That might help explain your long beautiful hair.

My optometrist tells me I'm colour blind. I have trouble differentiating green from grey. I don't care to find out "how bad' it is.

I just took a color blind test and scored 11 of 11, it said I'm not color blind.
