I may be swerving away from bacon. Lately I have been into beef jerky. I can get 16 ounces (454 grams) of Jack Links beef jerky for $11. Am I committing heresy?

Morning all!

I'm pretty sure I have sleep apnea, have we covered that yet?
For a long time now I have to get up 3 to 4 times a night to go to the bathroom, always figured it was my BP meds.
Recently, around 3:30 every morning, I wake up with a jolt, something I can't put my finger on exactly but it's feeling more and more like having to catch my breath. The last two mornings I've gone to my recliner, put up the footrest, don't recline, that way I get a little more sleep.
Bi-annual physical is tomorrow with my MD, so I'll discuss it with him. Not looking forward to a sleep test, or a CPAP machine if needed, but man I've got to get some relief.
Best wishes Bob.

Sleep apnea sucks.

As for the multiple nightly trips to the bathroom, don't consume any fluids a few hours before bedtime, and pee before retiring.

Besides, I have no time for goal right now.
I used to go to bed at 11:30 and get up at 5:30 every morning. Just warning you, you won't be able to do that forever.

Or
Wouldn't fit through the door, and even if it could, the floor probably wouldn't hold it.

And with 18" thick concrete walls with steel reinforcement, there is no way that will get through to the inside anyway.

I get up at 1:25 am.

Which means bedtime is around 6 pm.

Just keep it clean.

Otherwise they make a person sick.

Thanks!
Yes, it makes one suck for air.
One of the causes of nocturia is sleep apnea, it's not my prostate, I don't have one anymore.

That's encouraging. I'm sure there's several nights trying to adjust to the mask.

Only three of my friends use them. I'm falling behind in the Cpap using friends race.

I win!

When I drove Monstro and company, I knew many people who have CPAP machines. Truck drivers are notoriously overweight, smoke tobacco (heavily), don't eat right, don't exercise, and drink too much.

All causes of sleep apnea.

Something to consider, when nearly every over the road truck you see has a CPAP machine in the sleeper.

Not wanting to become a slave to a medical device, I dieted, exercised, ate a good whole foods diet, rarely drink, and haven't smoked in over 25 years.
