Ha! Well, so I learn something new every day!
Two museums with good collections of them are Nation Palace Museum in Yang Ming Shan part of Taipei, with the old emperorís collections of stuff. (Saved from the Cultural Revolution.) The other is the V&A quite near the other museums near Harrods in central London. Bit of an effort finding them among their pile of ceramics. Ceramics includes an example of body armour breast plate.

I miss ol Rupert's sayings. In fact, I miss Rupert.
Yesterday on my way home at one intersection an Audi TT got in front of me. Reminded me of Rupertís pictures of Mrs Rupertís car.

Funny what triggers memories.

Backpackers cut the labels off their shirts to reduce weight, maybe you could ride faster if you did shave there?
There's not much to be gained. It takes me about 2 weeks to have a three-o-clock shadow.

The V&A had an exceptionally popular exhibit a while back: a fatberg portion, extracted from a sewer under London. It was a small portion of congealed stuff that block a sewer for a length of about 100 yards.

In a survey released today, about the popular snack foods in UK one in the most popular category was 'bacon sandwiches'.

Black pudding (not an over-cooked desert) was in the bottom category along with the food which is to be eaten on 25/January, Haggis Day.

Number one way to tell someone is not from Canada....they feel the need to preface hockey with an additional descriptor ;-)

Well there is field hockey, and roller skate hockey, for those who don't have refrigeration figured out, or simply want to play without getting wrapped up in all that thick insulated clothing.

We don't want any confusion you know.

Yea Blues!
