Fantastic....good for them. I heard the Boston fans booed....no class there
No class is right, when the celebration was going on, many Bruins "fans" were behind the glass giving thumbs down signs.
There's some stories here from Blues fans, who went to Boston, about how nastily they were treated.

A Blues fan was in Vegas back in January, he put $400 on the Blues to win the Cup, odds were 250-1 with them being the worst team in the NHL.
He won $100,000.

edit, thanks for the hockey types lesson, Racer.
You're welcome Bob.

Canadians probably didn't know there were other ways to play hockey, because, well, it is The Great White North, eh?

Every Canadian private girls school has a girls field hockey team. But it's kind of slow when not played on ice.

I imagine the puck doesn't slide across grass like it does on ice, eh?

Not to mention that those field hockey sticks could do some serious damage. I've seen an ice hockey player break his stick on the helmet protecting another guy's head. I don't think it would be the stick that broke in field hockey.

Hadn't thought about this in years, but dad used the term bull hockey if someone said something he didn't believe.
I grew up thinking of hockey as a game and also poop.
Where the Term Bull Hockey Came From

Where the Term Bull Hockey Came From
Which of course reminds me of my favourite hockey joke.

Said in a New York accent
" I went to da Gawdens to see a fight, and a hockey game broke out."

Here they call soccer football.

There needs to be a brand descriptor for kinds of football.
Australian
Rugby League
Rugby Union
Gaelic
American
Soccer

Number one way to tell someone is not from Canada....they feel the need to preface hockey with an additional descriptor ;-)
"Hockey" is played on grass or artificial turf. "Ice hockey", as you know, requires some very cold H2O.
