I might also fire up the BBQ for lunch. Nothing special... just some pork sausages, maybe some bacon-wrapped scallops and a few mushrooms, onions and peppers to go with it.
Sounds pretty special to me, Mike!
I'll bring the beer.

We were going to do some steak skewers with peppers, but by the time we finished gardening I couldn’t be bothered, so we ordered Indian for delivery... won’t be using the Weber today either, we’re off up to London to see the Eagles this evening!

I didn't, Mark, but I'm definitely tempted...

We had Indian food from our favourite place on Friday... The butterflied tandoori king prawns were to die for

Enjoy the Eagles... that should be some gig! Where are they playing - the O2 Arena?

Wembley Stadium!

---------- Post added 06-23-19 at 01:39 AM ----------

This’ll be the sixth time we’ve seen them ‘live’, but the first without Glenn Frey.

She's a Missouri girl.
If it makes you happy, take it easy and enjoy the show!

I saw Sheryl Crow at the Shepherd's Bush Empire some years back (maybe 10 years?)... She was fantastic. Enjoy!

Beautiful weather here the last couple of days... Actually, for the North East of England we've had a pretty decent spring and not a bad start to summer, all told - although we've had quite a bit of rain (welcome to the UK, folks ). No beach visits yet, but a few nice drives and walks into rural parts, and a second very nice visit to Beamish Museum a couple of days ago. I got the lawn out back mowed today, and my Dad did the small patch of lawn out front with his electric mower. I might give the main lawn another skim tomorrow, just to get that "bowling green" effect Mostly cloudy tomorrow, but little chance of rain, so I might also fire up the BBQ for lunch. Nothing special... just some pork sausages, maybe some bacon-wrapped scallops and a few mushrooms, onions and peppers to go with it. Oh... I just remembered that I have a nice chorizo sausage to use up. Might chop that into chunks and stick that on the BBQ too. Anyway, we won't go hungry

EDIT: The hedghog has been out most nights, prowling around. He came right up to me while I was putting things in my recycling bin. Got quite a shock when he realised I was there, and just stood still. I stroked him gently... he didn't roll up, just looked at me. Very cute
Pretty similar weather here to what you described. Last week was mostly rainy around Oxford. But this morning it had been dry for long enough that the narrow path near the church, to get in from a nearby street, not the main way in, had that train station smell about it. Not nice.

No more live performances by Pink Floyd, they flogged the guitars for a song, or a few.

We got ‘if it makes you happy’ and ‘enjoy the show’, and no doubt we’ll soon get ‘take it easy’!

What the hell just happened?

The forum stopped loading last Friday and I just now got back on! I tried everything, even different machines, browsers and devices.

Nothing.

Even joined Twitter so I could whine about it. Made one post there last night. When I tried checking in on it this morning it locked me out, saying something about breaking rules.

All I did was try and sign on.

Now it won’t let me in unless I give them a phone number.

They ain’t getting it.

Sheesh!
