I like it that way too, with just a tiny bit of give.
Mrs Bob likes it a little more stiff.

A re-cap; one photo containing part of the floor not refinishing (yellowed from 60 years of oxidation and wax) and the other part after sanding and three coats of finish. The old yellowed section (seen below the cut in the floor has been ripped up allowing for future installation of tile. I hope that removes all confusion. One photo folks, two flooring conditions.
Thanks for clearing that up Charlie.

Was there any doubt? The only thing I was asking myself was "why is he replacing a perfectly good floor", and the answer is "he isn't" Looks good!
I thought he said he was ripping it up to reuse in another part of the house, and was going to lay tile in place of the hardwood.

I am so confused . . . . .

And here is bacon, before and after. Again, only one photo, well, one image of two photos ;-)
You could have done one of those dynamic images where viewers can grab the line in the middle, and drag it side to side, revealing the "before" and "after".

I thought both looked good too, and like darker one just as well.
It'll age back to the dark side soon enough.

Yeah, they're spreading here, too, now, coming over from Sweden where they've been on the increase for years despite attempts at keeping the numbers down. Dangerous game, but makes good bacon I'd think.

What they need are a few Huey's with 50 cals in the doors. Better yet, a minigun.

Oh yeah.

I'd eat it.

Well, what's left after I cut it in half with a machine gun.
