The sink is in very nearly the same location as before, but the new sink will have a bench mounted mixer tap, while the previous sink had two wall taps. So, we needed to move the hot and cold feeds and also move the waste slightly. On the other wall, we had two (old style) double hotpoints and that's changing to three new (smaller modern style) double hotpoints. Also, I needed to install the feed for the new concealed under-cabinet lighting. And I needed to move the supply pipe for the fridge icemaker. So, yes, the drywall had to come off.
What is a hotpoint Mark?

I was going to post about it here, but then I figured it needs a thread of it's own:

Ah - that's what we call an electrical socket.

Looks like this:

You can even get clever ones with built in USB charging.

We call them power points.
Hotpoint used to be an electrical appliance brand name. - now gone the way of lots of other brands.

There are more expressions to be found on the chart for uncommon plugs (at some point) used in NZ/AU - most of them look to have a severe hangover.

...and really, how did we manage to mess this up so thoroughly? Currently 14 types of sockets in use around the world

Is it just to make us keep buying adapters because the one we bought last time was left at home?

The type D used in India/Pakistan is the one used in UK up until WWII or thereabouts - and is smaller than the similar-looking huge type M used in South Africa.
