What are these Monday and Tuesday things. Since I retired, each week consists of six Saturdays and a Sunday.

in other news I got a new gas grill this evening. It is a Weber Spirit II S-210. I assembled it tonight. It will be fired up tomorrow. That covers BBQ. So all that needs to be added is bacon.

The early FJ Toyota Landcruisers first came to Oz in the 1950's when the Brits couldn't supply enough Landrovers to meet the needs of the construction of the Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Scheme. One of the major contractors imported a number for this use and then set up distribution throughout parts of Oz.

See Snowy Mountains Scheme - Wikipedia for details of the Snowy scheme.

Those FJ's have kept their value very well. People still pay good money for a tidy FJ. And silly money for a new Landcruiser.

We painted last weekend so (hopefully) the nicotine is completely eradicated from the house. The rebuilding has begun!

Good morning all; back working in Ottawa today but not for long; in less than two weeks we vacate this place in the big city forever! Working from my livingroom in Deep River was fantastic, even though it was only for a day.

Eyes all good, cataracts are a little worse, but no need for surgery yet.

I know we are in a car picture theme, but here is my grand-daughter who just turned two. My daughter (not her Mom) made the dress.

Hi Charlie

The want / need to make something by hand is becoming more popular with the newer generation ( thank goodness ).
All the 'old'ways won't be lost afterall.
