Looking at the detailed photos, though, it appears to need a "good taste" make-over

I agree, from the few pics I looked at, and the outside looks like a funeral home.

What's the difference between a "wet bar" and a "dry bar"? Apart from the fact that a "dry bar" may mean all your friends have left.

A wet bar has running water and a sink.

A lot of boys perished there.
For a long time I wondered what the Frankenstein lugs on those helmets were for.

They were mounting points for a piece of additional stand-off armour to shield the forehead which was special issue for machine gunners so they could more safely sit in the head up position mowing down their opponents.

Ideally, yes. I have a friend who has set his goal at learning three new things every day. Three "real" things, that is. You can't just read the top three headlines in the paper and be done with it

I come here when I need to learn something new.

Hey, nobody said it had to be useful.

Maybe not good taste, but wow, cheap! We paid roughly 10x more per square foot - and that's without the 20 acres. And with 5 baths less - and not a single wet bar

But then we don't have to pay $100k a year in property taxes

I guess that leaves some cash to stock up a dry bar
