If I am not mistaken, is it not Racer's birthday today? If so, happy birthday!

Left-click is just a tap on the screen, no? It's right-clicking that confuses the iDudes. But you need to have the desktop version up.
Some of us are just easily confoozled, no matter what platform we're on ;-) Desktop it is then, if I want to do that trick.

Palaver:

According to the Oxford English Dictionary it derives from the Portuguese "palavra" meaning "speech" (cognate with the English word "parable")which meant "talk, parley, discussion". So "what a palaver" - "what a load of [pointless] discussion".

Well that's fitting for this thread, at times, but rarely.

Left click is a tap.

Right click is touch and hold.

Wait for the menu.

Doesn't always pop up.

Lift and try again.

Usually works the second time.

I'm not really an iDude, but my second iPod is a Touch, so I had to become fluent in iSpeak and iGestures.

I turned off fired Siri.

She was a lousy personal assistant. I tried to train her to respond how I wanted her to, but could find no way to manipulate the canned replies.

Any idea if there is some equivalent for that on an iPad? Left-clicking kinda doesn’t work so well on one of these, dontcha know, eh?
Tap.

Or touch and hold, and a menu should magically appear.

I think.

My iPod does it that way.

I'm not an iDude, dude.

That's my cop out if it doesn't work for you.

Just got home, hooked up to the foot ultrasound machine, grabbed a bite, and was catching up on all this polarver business.

And yeah, I don't like the mobile version - I always request the desktop version even on my phone. That does have some drawbacks, too, but all in all I prefer it that way.
Like you need a microscope to read the desktop version.
