To be fair to our Aussie friends, here in 'merica we had a guy trying to sue Popeye's chicken after he drove all over town trying to find their new chicken sandwich. He said when he couldn't get one, it made him unhappy.

I didn't think I could ever become a vegan because that's irreconcilable with my love for fast food, but the pictures of those queues at that Atlanta KFC for Beyond Chicken have me thinking ….

Something full of taste like duck would be hard to simulate, but the chicken breast is sort of meant to be a blank canvas for added flavours and textures.

I could never become vegan or vegetarian because I am an omnivore.

Although I did completely cut meat, sugar and fat from my diet a few years back for health reasons, I have reintegrated meat type protein back into my daily diet. Mostly fish, I still have an occasional steak, or some bacon.

Veganism is out because I cannot give up leather, and vegans won't have anything made from it, because it is animal based.

I could never give up the heated leather seats in my Ram.

Or the leather wrapped steering wheel in my race car, F150, and Ram.

Or the leather my work boots and cowboy boots are made of.

Or the leather my holsters and gunbelts are made from.

Or my leather belt that holds my jeans snug around my waist.
