After 40 years of metric in Canada, it still is for me. I still don't know how tall I am or how much I weigh in metric.
I'm at least an inch shorter than I used to be, currently about 190.5 cm, using a converter.
I'm not going to do my weight conversion.

You beat me to it today Bob.

Still, my annual remembrance:

Only once?

Did you usually buy 1/4 or 1/2 ounces?

Amazon delivery people take note: Storm doors open out.
Had the item been fragile, I would've had to open the garage door to retrieve my package.

Had it been fragile it would have been busted all to heck before the Einstein delivery driver propped it up against the storm door.

Bonjour y'all ...

Hope that everyone is fine and dandy.

I am just checking in the communicate some news which is a bit "sad" for me ... my favorite film-only "junk" camera shop is closing down and the story made it into the news!

Last time I was there about 3+ years ago, the front door could not openly fully because there was camera gear piled up on the floor blocking its path ... really, the door could only open about half way.

Sorry that the story is in French, but that happens a lot here. The video is worth a worth a "fun" look ...

Sad news indeed John.

So will there be a huge sale to liquidate the stock, or is it all off to the landfill with the lot?

Yeah, it was a quirky place indeed ... they said that there was to be an auction(s), but one knows.

I am going up to Paris tomorrow for the weekend to attend a festival with exhibitions and concerts and etc.

If time allows, I may try to pop in on this shop ... on verra (we'll see).
