Yes, I like two door models better as well.

The Monaro looks a bit like the Pontiac cars of the same vintage in the US.

Oh, i don't. Should I ever again buy a car it would have to be something far more useable. But I don't want the hassle that comes with owning 2 tonnes of scrap iron - scrap iron that's parked in a garage at least 98 % of the time. Makes no sense at all.

Yes, well the 2001-06 Monaros were exported to the States as Pontiac GTOs. They were labelled Vauxhalls in the UK.

Jeremy of Top Gear loved them for their lack of sophistication, power and easy to bring on oversteering, perfect for drifting. I suppose he didn't have to pay for the tyres being replaced.
