Bravo, bravo et bravo ... That shall be an excellent experience. When were you in Grenoble? We spent over a year living at Valence in the Drôme (26). Loved the mountains on both sides on the Rhone and went often up into the Vercors and across the river into the Ardèche, where my sister-in-law and her husband live (Aubenas). Poitiers is just too darned flat ... J

Archie McPhee is a fun place. And having the only brick and mortar store within a short drive it is great to hop in the car and drive into town now and again, just to go there.

And it is in Ballard, "ya, sure, you betcha!"

We lived in "the 38" from 2003-2006. Most of that time was in the small village of Engins, at the edge of the Vercors (but only 900m). Wonderful time, great experience, and the French are incredibly welcoming and casual. Naturally, the current weather here in Canada makes me crave tartiflette, diot de savoie, vin chaud, etc.

Valence and the valley is much better for wine (and shoes ).

AF module? What is that?

Does it speed up the slow AF system and fix house-sized focus points in the VF?

Works for me.

Too bad I have a CDL and am subject to the random "quiz".

Oh, I'm sure hociR is hiding in the wings, giggling.

The high ISO is not as good as in K5. The FLU card functionality leaves a lot to desire.
I have to spend USD 30.00 or so + shipping for a roll of Professional grade gaffer tape from B&H (the stuff is good BTW).

And...it does not dispense perfectly cooked and crispy, Bacon...
That right there could be a deal-breaker. Yes sir.
