And...it does not dispense perfectly cooked and crispy, Bacon
Go to the 'menu', 'options', 'card slot 2' and right-arrow. You'll find an option for 'Raw', 'Raw +', 'jpeg' and 'micro'. I thought this was 'microcard' at first but it's actually 'microwave'. Get out of menu selection, slip a piece of bacon in, close the door and 'bulb' for one minute & thirty seconds. Voila, crispy bacon.
But still, another reason not to buy a K3; takes so long to make a bacon sandwich

Good points and thanks for the info.
That must be really hard on the batteries = lousy re-heat time.
The K3II should address the poor cooking performance.

Just be sure to insulate the camera well with gaffer's tape to extend the battery life.

I won't buy it unless I get this weird thing that someone sent me as a joke (I like metal and hard rock) to play a private concert for me at my place.

It's weird, but I kinda like it.

Well! I thought it was like seeing some of my nieces and nephews together. From my position as an outsider, it seems very typical of Japanese and Japanese influenced cultures at present. BTW: not my kind of stuff.

And on another note, here's a summary for the weather hereabouts for the last 70 days or so:

Can somebody please fix the weather?!

I sure won't buy a K-3 elsewise!

Not to rub in it ... but, went to the park with the girls and the K-5 ... felt comfortable in that no "hociR" was on my DSLR and no need to use duct tape to hide it, etc. Another reason not to get a K-3 ... no fear of being "outed" in a public place/park ...

Hang on everyone ... Spring is not far away, J

Geez Jean. I wonder what you'd post if you were trying to rub it in to we frozen ones.

I say we pay the man a visit... he seems to be a little confused on what's rubbing it in and what isn't. But just to be clear, any image posted that doesn't look like this (specifically 3/4s ice and snow)... is rubbing it in.

This is more the mood...

Forget that happy pappy stuff.

boy do I need a coffee, and maybe some cheese

We're supposed to get a high of 65 degrees Saturday, which is 70 degrees higher than the high two weeks ago. And I just opened a box from a PF member that had a DA15 Limited inside.

Time to see what all the swooning is about. And this one has SMC on the front. Since I have the letters-that-shall-not-be-spoken on the back of my camera, do I risk a run-away nuclear reaction and the destruction of Tokyo when I mount it?

(I'd add, "Take that, Mr. Park-with-the-girls, anti-hociR-man," but it wouldn't be nice, so I won't).
