You must feel quite strongly about that statement Bert, having double posted it.
Too many idiot tourists about. Important for them to here that.

Sometimes. with the spotty internet round here, I get double posts. I think I'll leave this one. Helps get another raffle ticket

I like to saute matchstick size pieces of fresh apple in butter, then spoon the pancake batter over the top.

I think you mean Akkadian? Just as daft are the berks who try walking across the glacier (despite the warning notices in Serbo-Croat.) These crevasses can be really deep, but that's Darwinism for you.
Babylonian and Assyrian are both Akkadian, aren't they? Not that I could tell the difference.

Crossing glaciers can be done safely if you know what you're doing. It's one of those places where ignorance can be deadly.

Not my image.

I probably missed the boat on this comment but I'll do it anyway. Someone mentioned "eat what you kill" which reminded me of a story from the local rural railway in the North of Scotland. One day the train stopped in the middle of nowhere and sat there for a while. The guard came wandering down the train and a woman stopped him and asked "Why have we stoped"? The guard replied "We hit a cow". The woman went on "Was it on the line"? and the guard, being the sort of laid back bloke who didn't get excited at anything said "No, we had to chase it over a couple of fields but we got it in the end......"

I've ogt a box of that pancake mix I picked up in Costco here, it's a bit out of the best before date now as I don't use it too often but it works just as well in a waffle iron if you water it down a little. New Years day breakfast will be waffles, bacon, lorne sausage, black pudding and baked beans... Served with toast and a pint of hot tea

With all the... stuff we're getting served by the management one would think it should be possible to get the expenses covered for a pitchfork to handle said stuff.

It could come in really handy at meetings as well - doubly so as it can be used to reinforce arguments.

Excuse me, I have some shopping to do.

I'd suggest that a large ladle, or a shovel, or even a small desert spoon will handle "stuff" better than a pitchfork.
