Another good hockey game completed! Islanders topped the Sabres 3-2 in over time. Islanders win the bacon, to keep this thread on topic.

A good day at The Big Shed, eight hours of time and a half.
Tomorrow another day, most likely eight hours, only double time.

Met up with an old friend after work today, for a beer and a bite. Haven’t seen each other in years. Spent a few hours catching up, a real nice visit.

Hopped into the Eddie Bauer and was on my way to fill it with gas before heading to my home in the foothills, and I guess I pushed it just a bit too far.

Sitting at the end of an exit ramp, waiting for Mrs. Racer to bring a couple gallons so I can make it the last half mile to the gas station.

*sigh*

I haven’t ran a vehicle out of gas in so long I forget the last time I did so.

Enough for that tank!

cheesy

I’ve been pushing it lately, usually going about 200 miles on a fillup. The last fillup I went about 220 miles. I have 218.8 since that last fuel stop.

Four batches of Christmas cookies baked and decorated. As a retired QA Engineer I tested several samples to insure that quality had not slipped from previous years. I am happy to say that quality levels were maintained.

Nearly ran out of gas once while driving over a mountain pass, no station for 100km either way, bought some off a snowmobiler.
