It's law in more populated areas. Rifles are not allowed but shotguns and slugs are. It's a safety thing.
I see, whats this 'more populated' thing you talk off?

Aye, but I'm thinking of somewhere further North - Helmsdale maybe?
You're thinking of the Brora stone which repeats a claim the last wolf in Sutherland was shot around 1700. That's just off the A9 too, although if you make it that far without a speeding ticket you're doing very well. There be vultures...

So the rain coming up the Eastern seaboard looked like this in Deep River, Ontario.
Rather have that then the rain we had. Dreary drab brown and grey scenery with no sun for days at a time. At leas the snow brightens things up a bit.

Cameras popping up all over the place here too. I detest them. They serve no purpose other than revenue collection. 4 cameras went up on the New York - Pennsylvania border on route 219 near Bradford PA. No government agency asked has claimed them. I am thinking of spray painting over the lenses. That should get a response. The government has no business knowing where I am or what I am doing as long as I am not breaking any law. Of course with all the new laws added yearly, we are all probably breaking some law somewhere.

Same here - often you need to be able to identify the sex as well.
I never went hunting so did not need to get into the details. That is likely.

Rupert is always with us.
The amount of flagon wine dispenced in a bottle is too common...
Flagons and casks are harder to find now.
But.....
Where I live the wines are the best....just ask us...

The only Australian wine I have had is Yellow Tail. It gives me cramps in my stomach. The only wine I have ever had that does that. More than once too. Not sure if it is considered a premier wine or now but I avoid it now. In any event there are some great local wines where I live and I prefer to support the locals.

I might have been at that one...

Hey, X, hows it looking for your trekking back and forth to the Big Shed? We got less than a dusting down here in the Harbor, but Everett got The Convergence (as I’m sure you know ;-) )...
