Here in the USA we have what's called a porta potty.
If you have ever worked outside, you're very familiar with going potty in one.
Speaking of working outside, Bob Vollmer is retiring.

At 102.

Bob Vollmer, Indiana's Oldest State Worker, Is Retiring At 102 : NPR

He has been working for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources for nearly 60 years, as a surveyor.

And he has a great first name, eh?

Lots of schools closed, it hasn't hit here yet, but will soon.
Nothing of the sort here. We still have some patches of ice here and there, though. For some it's too much.

We came across this on our walk today.

Ouch.

No studded tyres. Tsk, tsk.

Four years in a row, 1966, 1967, 1968 and 1969.

The only American car to ever win at Le Mans.

I don't know.

I suppose the equipment is cleaned and sterilized after each use though.

My second visit with Dr. Alien Anal Probe was a double whammy. It wasn't Dr. Hawkins back then but Dr. Ekaterina Knowlton. She went down the inlet, and up the outlet during the same visit, having a look from both directions. I have no idea if the gear was the same for both or if it was cleaned between insertions, as they put me under completely for that visit.

And hey, it has a CMOS sensor, so it is every bit as good as a K5IIs or a K-1.

Even a "cough cough" K-3.

Still ain't buying one though.

We didn't meet any Canadians on our walk today, but they've obviously been here!

Oh, not taken with a K-3.

Doh!

All that effort and presumably the tree fell the wrong way!

I would guess the beaver was aiming to drop the tree across the water.
