There's a roll-eyes emoji - though it looks quite goofy:

Luckily not - that's all I'm hearing on the radio right now.
Why do I get the picture in my head of an extremely tall antenna, a small hut beside which is occupied by a young man in a kilt, squatting beside the only other denizen of the small space. This other inhabitant, a short wave radio, the generator of which is being furiously being wound up to power by the youth hoping to hear news from the great world out beyond the mountains imprisoning his homeland.

This thread needs to be retired. Is there not some other thread that people can discuss what they wish to rant and rave about besides a worn out topic such as this? If not, start one and get rid of this stupid, in my opinion, thread. Honestly, I can tell you of 9 different people I know in Texas that have purchased a different camera system just because they saw this thread as a guest! AS A GUEST!!!!!! Even if it is satire. Time to move on people.... And this is only people that I have first hand knowledge of....Kill this thread and move on to the present, its 2020 now....or do you wish to keep Pentax/Ricoh [ and anyone who has invested in the Pentax system decades ago, such as myself ] hostage to a thread started by 1 person 6 years ago [ or however long ago this thread was started ] even if in jest? It is ok to critique any camera system but this thread now can be described as a nothing but a “Kardasian” gossip Facebook site....Wonderful.....
Perhaps you should buy a husqvarna

Uhh... not really. It's more like pressing the power button on the car radio...

Haven't been pool-side yet; that will be Mexico. That said, a few good hikes and two days in a 350hp convertible Transam carving through spectacular mountain roads have probably put some colour in our faces.

With both a Husqvarna and a Stihl saw at home, I can say I haven't had any big problems with either.

Though I will say that I really like Stihl's chain sharpener thingy, makes sharpening really easy now:

Agreed, both good saws. I own a 30 year old Stihl and it has never let me down. That said, your can't buy a Stihl dirt bike.

Sounds so 1940's (or something like that)
