I've heard the saying "Put your money where your mouth is" but in this instance, Bob, I'd suggest caution.

They are into extreme sports in New Zealand. This one seems rather extreme.

You seem to describe the culture here rather well. I guess you have been near enough to observe it for quite some time.

Beautiful blue sky today....-18 right now but warming up to a balmy -3 this afternoon. Maybe the Shih Tzu will be able to walk today...poor thing had frozen paws yesterday. And no, she will not suffer dog booties.

How many snow shovels do you need Charlie? Looks like 3 or 4 leaning against the wall there.

We have had overnight temperatures of -3 (29f) or so here the past few days.

Yesterday the daytime high was about 15 (60f).

Halfway through Friday at The Big Shed, and no requests to come in over the weekend to work downline rework.

Kinda nice to be home for the weekend, but the extra money has been nice.

*sigh*

Pintos with ham, fried potatoes, and cornbread for dinner.
Got to get some protein into Mrs Bob, she still doesn't have much of an appetite, but still progressing pretty well otherwise.
Tylenol is all she's needed for pain, so we don't think she'll need the oxy prescription.

Women are so tough.

If men have similar surgery they require just about anything and everything the local pharmacy has to offer.

Quite the temperature differences throughout the days right now. Makes for awkward ski waxing when on full day skis. Rewaxing multiple times as it warms up.

Next time use a pressure cooker, it works quite well for tough old buck meat.
