Lovely photo. Wonderful lighting and composition.

Would be great in a calendar for vintage utility equipment.

My oldest son, who lives in CO, saved his money and a few months ago came out of the active Air Force Reserves to pursue his passion, saddle making.
Here's his latest custom made saddle. His client is thrilled with his work.

Not surprised Bob - that's some skilled leather-work! Congrats to him.

One of the most fascinating trailers designed for a specific vehicle is the trailer for the Land Rover 101 FC (which is a neat vehicle by itself), it has a driveshaft connection, effectively turning the Land Rover into an articulated 6x6:

Does it leak oil like all Land Rovers?

If it didn't, it wouldn't be a Land Rover...

Elm and sweet gum are easy.
Not sure if you are being sarcastic but the Elm up here (what's left of it) is the most twisty sinewy wood, a real pain to split, even with a good frost in it. Now birch, that is a joy with a good maul.

Absolutely beautiful saddle...that looks like it will last many a year. It is one of those things that is a work of art, almost too good to be used, but whatever rider buys it, will treasure it.

How about a picture of this machine Mark?

I always share pictures of my machinery.

Like the 8N, and the neighbor's wood splitter after a hard day's work.

I'll get round to it. Dark now.
Not only do I share pictures of my stuff, I share videos.

Warming up the 8N yesterday.
