Building anything underground is expensive. When doing civil engineering work we always did our best to minimize how deep sewer and storm drain systems had to be, to keep costs down.

But when you are obscenely rich, like Elon Musk, I guess money is no object, eh?
Yep. He seems to be able to attract huge amounts of money from those willing to invest in his ideas/products. I haven't made up my mind as to how all this will end up.

Well, there was a guy several years ago who became filthy rich by borrowing so much money that the banks couldn't afford not to keep lending him more.

I'm not sure what became of him. He had a T.V. show for a while.

Two intense days with the grandkids. We were finally allowed physical contact again after more than two months, and I think the kids felt starved of it. I've been a climbing frame from the moment they arrived. I suspect that my arms and shoulders will be sore tomorrow from all the lifting. Great fun

When they left I say down with a cup of tea. Then decided it wouldn't do and lay down on the sofa and had a two hour snooze.

Oh, listen - a beer is calling my name

You realize there's a step in between where you are and being a granddad, right?

I'd taken that step four times before I was 29.

Hey gang.
Dropping in to let you know I'm having a health issue, hopefully not serious, but I fear it might be.
Going through tests and procedures to try to pin point the problem.
I'll update when I know more and hopefully be back annoying you all real soon.
Love you guys! in a manly way of course
Thinking of you Bob. In a manly way, of course.

Jokes aside, I hope they find the problem and that it turns out to be (easily) fixable.
