Thank you. To both of you, Thought all the true believers had left.
I'm still here.

And using the K5IIs.

Check out my latest adventure here.

Some bacon was consumed too. When I got back to St. Regis and had lunch while waiting for the escorts. I had a BLT, fries and iced tea with lemon.

Mmmmmmmm . . . . . . . . . . . . . tasty!

I suppose even rebels and radicals are destined to 'other' somebody eventually.

I pop in & out. Every time I pop back in I realize I am really lost. You have to be dedicated to keep up around here.
And I still love bacon and cheese!

Been popping in as well and loving the posts. But I am a traitor who drank the hociR Kool-aid. But I just put some gaffer tape over that little logo and felt much better.

And I haven't left either.
I won't be buying a K3: I have a perfectly good K5 (with more capability than I have!)
I'm just waiting for the StarTrack truck tomorrow to deliver the 35mm Macro Limited which when joined to the K5 should prove that I don't need a K3, even more than I didn't need it before.

Still here ... cannot get get rid of me ... still got 18 months of warranty left on the K-5, so not budging or jumping ship (yet ).

Up early, it's a bit past 7 AM Sunday here and the "countdown" is winding down ... less than 2 hours before the Poitiers annual swap opens its doors, at 9 AM ... probably will spend a better part of the day there (at Montamisé, to be precise) ... film at 11. J

Jean, Is this "swap" similar to what Americans know as a "garage sale?" if so, my sympathies are extended. I cannot recall a more boring Saturday than the one spent at our one and only Garage Sale. Now if we don't need stuff, it goes in a box and then to the Goodwill store charity.

At my only garage sale as a Seller, I became somewhat upset when a Browser would demand a lower price on a hardcover book. Who cares who wrote it! The skill and care in creating the hard covered bound pages, designed for a life span greater than mine, deserve a price of more than ten cents. So I did not sell any of my books that day.

And that may be why I bought a K3.

Nope, not a garage sale, but a swap organized by a local photo club. This is year 28 Manifestations ...

Here's some old images ... quite a few professional sellers/collectors there plus individual collectors/sellers ... I have scarfed up some great stuff in the past ... like this jem for $10! ... I can see why you'd sacrifice sleep for this, Jean!

Poitiers has the most amazing photo club, it would appear. Buy all the Zenits with Helios 44 attached you see and get rich. I saw a marketplace listing here on PF a few days ago with two Helios 44 (-2 and -M4) at (IIRC) $65 and $85 each.

Activia?
Nah, store-brand "Greek" with fruit, tho' they never put enough fruit in it to make it palatable, so I also got a jar of fruit jam (my fave, pineapple; also store-brand) to add another spoonful or two. Per serving, a fraction of the cost of "Activia". Might have been efficacious, I think Tokyo is still inhabitable.

'Course, it's only a matter of time before nonaC or nokiN release a noob camera model named "Activia". The Force be with us if hociR does it...

The Greek style yogurt makes me retch. The texture alone is awful. Reminds me of that white paste glue they had when we went to kindergarten.

Blech!

I have regular yogurt every day, the kind with fruit in it, and the granola on top that you mix in just prior to eating it.

Mmmmmmm . . . . . . . . . . . . tasty!

Thanks Steve ... just got back home and made some super killer deals ... may post an image or two later on.

As for the "Helioi", here's my listing ... no bites and it's super cheap ... I'm almost giving it away because I have so many ... J
