Yes ... just like Al Gore who invented the Internet ... has he exploded yet?!

Naw ... I rest my case ... I have gathered a few funny facts about "why I won't buy a K3", namely relating, but not necessarily limited to schools, artists, places, politics and, not to say the least: FOOD !
No wonder no one is buying a K3 !

Here are a few "copy-paste" meaningful attributes of this thread I have gathered ONLY since the past few days (too lazy to go all the way back to the first pages):

home-made parmesan
triple mozzarella cheese
bacon
pepperoni
ham
smoked sausage
mushroom
green pepper
BLT, fries and iced tea with lemon
Greek style yogurt

Poop pill
English muffin
cabbage and collards
broccoli, cauliflower, and sprouts
bicycles....
Brussel Sprouts
The Borg has assimilated you
Strawberry-rhubarb pie

Bleu Cheese

8th Amendment
Boy Scouts
Walrus
Rolling-Stones

Clearly you need to start at the beginning, as your list is far from complete.

I haven't really been following this thread, but has the OP been back?

I'm sure when he does come back, he will be pleased what you all did with his thread.

Geez is right ... missing even some recent stuff like my Kangoo ... which is not a 4x4 version ... but this is what I have secretly wanted: a Lada Niva 4x4

We've tried to treat it with the respect and dignity that it deserves.

That should be "deserves", present tense! What goes on here in a solemn matter.

Outrageous! Forum is still not recognizing the challenge from photographic astrology - still not recognizing the problems with photographing creatures like Centaurs, Pisces, Capricorn and Leo.

Isn't that what it says, even as quoted?

Yes, but a minute before you posted, or your quote wouldn't show the change.

I think some guy who was overly concerned with bacon, rhubarb and okra was walking along looking at the Ricoh on the back of the camera while it was pointed at the ground and took a shot of his ekiN.

My reasoning behind this is I make a living in photography.I shoot lots of weddings and It seems more people ask on what camera I'am using.I have had quite a few people turn me down because I shoot with pentax. They just know canon and nikon.I l was turned down on other major sporting events because I shoot with Pentax. This all happened a few years back
once in middle school a few decades back I was too shy to ask a girl to the friendship dance which was a major social event and lots of times to putt-putt and parties so I wrote her a note.she turned me down because I was too facile to use capital letters and periods and spacesin my note.

and I will admit that some people are starting to recognize that pentax can keep up with the big guys.
By the time I graduated from college most girls had figured out the big guys were just sexy bodies wrapped around empty heads and we could keep it up - but by then it was too late. They all had 'Big Guys' stamped on their lower backs. At least our girls are classy enough to get Ricoh stamps. And we can always tape over that.

If Ricoh puts their name in front of the camera I feel it will throw them back to the dark ages.
Dude. Pentax is only going on the front of the BIG BOY cameras like the Z, or so PhotoRumors says. The smaller hociR cameras will have awesome low-light AF capability for use in the Dark, though, so at least that's someting

I hesitate to buy new equipment too, but it doesn't matter. I do it anyway. I can't resist. I've been assimilated.

I do also own nikon and canon slr's but I'am a pentaxian and as long as it says Pentax on the front of the camera I'am happy.
We're all so exceedingly happy for you that we've made thousands of Replies on your behalf - we are not worthy so much as to gather up the bacon and cheese sandwich crumbs under Thy table - we worship you, Pentaxian - but yet you spurn us, you Ignore us.

We Request the Honour of Your Presence but you never R.S.V.P.

We are despondent.

We cannot resist.

We are . . . . . hociR now.

Thread title is misleading

I think the title of this thread should be changed to "Why I bought a K-3 and am about to buy another one"

or "My Pizza is better with lots more cheese"
