Oh, and welcome to the clubhouse.

Snacks and donuts on the table, beer in the fridge.

Help yourself.

And happy 21st year of the 21st century, eh?
I highly recommend the chocolate covered plain donuts. However lately I see the clubhouse fridge, stock of Canadian beer seems to be consistently running low.

Hmmnn....I guess that would be my responsibility to stock the Canuck beer up to acceptable levels.

I'll bring in a a couple of two- fours of Molson's Canadian next time I'm at the clubhouse.

That won't last long.
If you want to bring something nobody will pilfer bring a bottle of Canadian Whisky.

Some (tongue-in-cheek) background:

The legal requirements for a spirit to be called bourbon are:
Produced in the United States
Made from a grain mixture that is at least 51% corn
Aged in new, charred oak containers
Distilled to no more than 160 (U.S.)* proof (80% alcohol by volume)
Entered into the container for aging at no more than 125 proof (62.5% alcohol by volume)
Bottled (like other whiskeys) at 80 proof or more (40% alcohol by volume)
May not contain added colors or flavorings

As far as I can tell the requirements for Canadian whisky are:
Must be distilled in Canada
Must contain ethanol
Must be brownish in color.

* Historically 100 proof is 57.06%.

It was 40 years ago , it was a good couple of winters getting paid to patrol

You are getting the dross from the multinational spirits companies. The small local spirit business has exploded in last few years (started more with gins since they are immediate but whiskies are coming online now (among many other things)
As a gin fan it’s been a little slice of heaven
Best this year was breakfast gin from Quebec

I'm terribly affronted !! Why.....why....(sputtering by Les ) ....I'll have you know Canadian Crown Royal Whisky is made about 70 miles away from where I live !

Crown Royal - Wikipedia.

However, I must admit, I'm more of beer man....although I do have a cherished bottle of ...The Glenlivet...that I've had for years. About once a year I take it out and gently waft the smell of that fine liquid towards my nose.

That's it !

I then replace the cork for another 6 months or so.

Then the gawkers get into accidents.

And it snowballs from there.

So stop the bleeding quickly.
And patch it up as tightly as possible. I took care of one guy with a forehead cut sealed it tight with flesh Blu and butterfly bangpdaged left the tiniest is distinguished scars. Turned out to be a model and he got business due to it. He brought me a bottle of Remy LouisXIII as a thank you . Stupid youthful me cracked it and drank it in one night with the other patrollers. I had no idea

In the U.S. druggies, for some unknown reason, like to keep their drugs in a Crown Royal bag.
Nothing says "arrest me, I'm an idiot crackhead" like a Crown Royal bag in plain sight.

Crown Royal won world whisky of the year in 2016 with the royal harvest rye . It was an exceptional rye , I finished of my dads bottle in the week I was out cleaning out the house after he passed away

Interior looks to be in very good condition. I think you'll get a lot of pleasure and fun out of that ride. As of late, since we got out first SUV....I've become a real fan of them.

Your dad had good taste.

We get some for our son on his birthday and Xmas.

My dad, probably similar to your dad, liked Crown Royal.

With some size bottles of Crown Royal over the years , they came supplied with a beautiful purple cloth (velour material I think) bag with golden draw strings, that were a presentation bag...when this whisky was made a gift to someone.

Back in the '50's when I was a young kid and used to play 'marbles' during the winters, a few of us, me included, would use these Whisky presentation bags as a container for our marbles. I felt like I had 'arrived' when I would come to a marble game...with my luxurious Crown Royal purple bag.

When this mask wearing craze we are having first started up last spring, a lot of people started making masks and selling them.

There was a gal at work who was making them with her adult daughter, and selling them on the side.

The most popular were the purple Crown Royal bags with the gold embroidery.

He just landed in Atlanta at 4:20 Pacific time, 7:20 Eastern.

After getting home ourselves, I went to the gas station to get some diesel for my shop heater.

I paid $1.639 for 25 gallons.
