My sister's Z kept her in the poor house for years, I'd show her the picture, but that top one would probably make her cry. I don't think she ever ran that car for more than 6 months without blowing up something in the engine. She was practically drinking buddies with her mechanic, she had to go to his shot to visit her car half the time she owned it. The amazing thing was when she finally sold it, engine torrn apart and not fixed, body needing work, falling apart, she still got $5K for it. Something that will always remain a mystery of the universe, at least from my perspective.
I have made a lot of money on the side fixing and maintaining Datsun Z cars over the years. The problem is that I do such a great job that I have just about ran out of customers.

Of course for what I have spent on the red one over the years I could have bought 4 or 5 645Z's.

But I still will not buy a K-3.
...or a 654Z with a decent set of lenses

Not to dis your choices, but I'd rather have the Pentax Z than the Datsun Z.

But no K-3!

Although I did see one offered at about $1350 the other day. Second hand, of course. But still...

Indeed. Not too bad if they're unpleasant because then you can dislike them for a "valid" reason. But what of those sociable, rich, good looking, witty, musically proficient and sharp people who spend most of their time saving disabled baby whales? Then we're talking annoying.

Almost as annoying add the mark of hociR on a K-3.

Yep, the mark the K-3 leaves on your cheek.

No offense taken.

But.

Will a 645Z hit 150mph + on the straights?
