Man that would be like hunting deer with a Sherman tank!! Totally cool idea!!
I will now have warm fuzzy thoughts of vaporized squirrel zombies!!
Although I never actually bagged one, I did have 16 gage slugs for my old 16 gage single shot breech load shotgun. My dad and I went deer hunting years ago, and all I had was the 16 gage, so he got me a box of those slug loads and off we went.

The French wine about their taxes all the time ... and I am not going to buy a K-3 because there's a 19.6% VAT added to the final price.
19.6%!?!?!?!?

Holy Taxman!

Do you also have to pay income tax?

I love the tags that have been created for this thread.

Who can make a sentence using all of them?
Lemme see here . . . . . although I fear that it may be a run-on . . . .

The Aussie shepherds grabbed some bacon, cheese, igunaq, a sandwich and some Basque paella to stave off the arctic cold, ammo for a defense against the possums, a dachsund for warmth and companionship, surely perplexed by the research that was happening in Tokyo concerning the study of the k3 camera by Ricoh, a Catch-22 as they considered the impact of snoring on their marital relations as well as their kids, by embarking upon their journey with nary a k-mount K-3 dslr which had the capability to use every Pentax lens ever made, including any slr lens (with adapters if needed, even those made by Canon, some people, sheesh!) that mount on the front of the cameras of course!

There, did I miss any?

Kind of a mixed blessing then.

Sorry to read about your health issue, but great to read that it is going to benefit others as the therapy helps you.
Thanks. Yeah, doing my part... up to a half gallon now. Not sure how much longer this has to go on (biweekly), I'll know more in about 10 days. And on the day the doctor turns me loose from the biweekly draws, I am going to have a big steak for dinner. Maybe with bacon, too!

Way back when at the beginning of my tenure at the electric utility my peers kept telling me that I should donate blood when the blood bank would come around. Since I dislike the sting of the needle I always declined.

But eventually I was shamed into it by my coworkers, and when they pointed out that it was on company time how could I refuse.

So after quite a few years of donating one of the nice ladies who was sticking the needle in pointed out that on my next donation I would have donated 2 gallons.

After that it was game on!

Suddenly I looked forward to donating. On the day that I was giving the pint that put me at 3 gallons I was bragging about it to the needle sticker. She looked at me and said, "Meh. That's nothing, I passed 4 gallons long ago."

Shortly after that they started having trouble finding a good vein and the process became a bit too traumatic for me. I stopped donating and wonder sometimes if maybe I should give it another go.

After all, there are lots of people out there who need it.

Are you sure that's not simply an HDR? Sure looks like my pictures after some excessive tone mapping!

The squirrels are coming.
