Newbie alert!!!!

(You are welcome to stay here provided you do not cross the line to on-topic material. There will be a test in one week. At that time you will be required to turn in a 300 word essay on what the topic is.)

Right. I don't want to mention him by name, but we have one member (*caugh*mono*caugh*) who is in serious jeopardy for making too many on topic; no, wait, off topic, no, wait, wut? Well, "photography related " posts here recently.

Sir: You have been around here long enough to remember (from the old days) that a 300 word essay is a Sunday afternoon post for me.

But I get the message and shall in future limit myself to appreciation of the fine comestibles presented on this truly Biblical (Old Testament proportions, Ark of the Covenant) thread - and cheesy-bacon popcorn.

Yup. Rocky Mountain oysters. And that's no bull. Hmmmm ...... I guess it actually is
Twice I have been at dinners in Taiwan (one was a wedding) where one of the dishes was a pot of soupy stuff with a large number of soft things in each pot, about the size of long cumquats. They were roosters' items. Don't know where they so many roosters from. Quite good cooked that way. Better than the RMOs which were just as they are.

Je suis desole. I didn't want to offend an epicurean like Shirley with 'acquired taste' items.

Oh, not me! I haven't called anyone anything for a long time, I haven't.

But I could need to brush up on my French. "Brush up" as in "learn from scratch"
